Décadas
Não dá pra dizer que foi uma grande surpresa.
O New Order encerrou definitivamente suas atividades, segundo o baixista Peter Hook. Trinta anos depois que Hook, Bernad Summer e Stephen Morris uniram-se a Ian Curtis para formar o Warsaw, o ciclo se encerra.
A banda ainda terá algumas faixas lançadas na trilha sonora de Control, cinebiografia de Curtis dirigida por Anton Corbijn, com premiére mundial no Festival de Cannes, no próximo dia 17 de maio.
O New Order lançou seu último disco minimamente interessante, Get Ready, em 2001. Em 2005 saiu o irrelevante Waiting for the Sirens' Call, que nem esquentou no toca discos aqui. Mas é como aquela tia que a gente gosta, não vê há um tempão, e quando morre a gente sente o choque. Esquecemos os anos de distância, e lembramos só dos momentos felizes do passado.
